My review for The Great Gatsby:

I give the Great Gatsby 4.5 stars. The Great Gatsby I think will be a classic forever. F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote the book as a way to put people back in reality because the American morals and ways of life were declining. I also love how the story is a complete circle.

The story is told by a character named Nick Caraway and he remembers in the past with Gatsby. Gatsby is Nick’s rich neighbor who has parties just about every weekend. Gatsby gets many guests, but they don’t act like guests because they talk bad about him. They say things like: He is a bootlegger or he killed a man. Are these things true? Nick meets Gatsby and Gatsby tells Nick about his past, but could they be true? Gatsby is also in love with Daisy, Nick’s cousin, but Gatsby was sent to WWI. Daisy waited for him, but ended up marrying a rich jerk. Can they meet and gain what was lost? There are also affairs that occur. The book keeps you wanting to read more.
